Motorist Detected Drink Driving on Monday Morning
A motorist was found to be over the drink drive limit at 8:30am on Monday, August 11, this year.
Arturas Puplauskas, 39, of Wildwood in Portadown, was detected near his home by police. He was slurring his words and had an alcohol in breath reading of 67, exceeding the legal limit of 35.
There was “no excuse” for the offence, according to the defence solicitor.
Puplauskas has previous offences, including driving whilst unfit. At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court, he was banned from driving for three years and fined £300.
