'KPop Demon Hunters' hit "Golden" has reached No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart for a ninth week, setting a new record.
Taylor Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia" has been dislodged from the top spot after a three-week run.

"Golden" from KPop Demon Hunters is back on top of the U.K. chart, bringing Taylor Swift's No. 1 run with "The Fate of Ophelia" to a close after three weeks.
"Golden" has now appeared at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart for nine non-consecutive weeks, making it the longest running No. 1 song.
Previous records include The Archies' "Sugar Sugar", which ruled the U.K. Singles Chart for eight weeks in 1969, and "We Don’t Talk About Bruno" from Disney's Encanto, which achieved seven weeks in 2022.
