Train Crash in Czech Republic Leaves 42 Injured

AL24 News reports a collision between two trains in southern Czech Republic on Thursday, resulting in at least 42 injured people.

There are 40 people with minor injuries and two with serious injuries, according to Petra Kafková, spokesperson for the ambulance service. The accident occurred near the city of České Budějovice, about 150 kilometers south of Prague.

According to Martin Kavka, spokesperson for railway operator Správa železnic, all passengers were evacuated from the trains. Details about the cause of the accident have not been provided, and an investigation is underway.
