About Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc
First opened in 1870 as a private mansion under the name Villa Soleil, the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Its guests have included notable figures such as John F. Kennedy, Winston Churchill, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Ernest Hemingway, and F. Scott Fitzgerald, who immortalized it in his novel Tender Is The Night.
