Allen Receives Praise for Podium
Kai Allen gave his Finals campaign a massive boost by producing a drive labelled as a “superhero” performance from winner Chaz Mostert on the Gold Coast.
Having started the Saturday race 12th, Grove Racing rolled the dice by running the inverse strategy, completing the compulsory stops as early as Lap 25, some 36 laps earlier than Mostert.

The difficulty of this task was displayed by veteran David Reynolds, who needed a splash and dash four laps from home. But Allen nailed it, holding on to take a fourth podium, arguably his most impressive being his first race at the circuit.
