Prop 50 Co-Author Assemblymember Gregg Hart Ready to Celebrate
Assemblymember Gregg Hart, co-author of Proposition 50, is preparing to celebrate the outcome of the Special Election in California.
Hart, along with State Senator Monique Limón, worked to introduce Prop 50 after Texas added conservative seats to the House of Representatives.
"It is a really important election and I'm glad that we are going to be celebrating soon, the polls are still open, we want people to get out and vote,"
said Hart. He emphasized that Proposition 50 authorizes temporary changes to Congressional Districts Maps.
- Prop 50 is the only issue on the Special Election ballot in California.
- Hart represents the 37th District, which was recently redistricted.
