Today is the last day for California voters to cast their ballots in the Proposition 50 special election.
Proposition 50 will give voters the power to decide California's Congressional district lines. Republicans view it as a Democratic power grab, while Democrats see it as a necessary measure to counter Republican redistricting efforts in Texas.
Voters can mail in or drop off their ballots, or vote in person at vote centers, which will be open from 7 a.m. Anyone in line at a vote center by 8 p.m. will still be able to cast their vote.
Newsom recently warned that ICE agents could be deployed to polling places amid immigration raids.
