Belfast City Council has passed a motion of no confidence in Education Minister Paul Givan, despite an earlier walk-out over the issue.
The decision followed a discussion during Monday's monthly meeting regarding a controversial incident at the ICC in Belfast, where a UNISON conference was abandoned due to objections over a message on the screen about the genocide in Palestine.
Councillor Caoimhín McCann expressed the "anger" felt across the city at Mr Givan's recent trip to Israel.
