Matthew Carney, executive producer of Four Corners since 2022, has resigned.
Carney will remain in his position until a successor is appointed, according to ABC News boss Justin Stevens.
The final Four Corners program for 2025 aired with 575,000 viewers, winning its time slot.
The show is currently nominated for the 2025 Walkley Awards, having won a Gold Walkley in 2022.
ABC has stated that Carney's resignation is unrelated to an investigation into reporter Mahmood Fazal.
Carney's departure was announced by ABC News boss Justin Stevens, who informed staff that he would stay until his replacement was appointed.
