Libyan Delegation Seeks to Revive Bilateral Relations with Lebanon

The Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, announced that a Libyan delegation delivered a message from Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah to the Lebanese leadership, aiming to reactivate diplomatic, political, economic, and judicial relations between the two countries.

Following the delegation's meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Al-Lafi stated that the visit aimed to resolve long-standing issues hindering the reactivation of bilateral relations.

"all pending issues of mutual concern between the two countries were discussed."

Regarding the case of Hannibal Gaddafi, Al-Lafi preferred not to elaborate, citing respect for the judicial process, but expressed optimism about the outcome, saying "we have heard positive news and are optimistic that it will be welcomed by all parties."
