President Javier Milei has appointed Diego Santilli as interior minister to help garner support for his reform agenda.
Diego will be the one to lead the conversations with governors and legislators in order to coordinate with the National Congress each of the necessary agreements for the reforms that are coming in the future.
Santilli, a member of former president Mauricio Macri's PRO party, follows the appointment of Manuel Adorni as Cabinet chief. Milei's La Libertad Avanza party won Argentina's midterm elections on October 26, boosting his quest to overhaul the country.
