Not Playing the Victim

The Irish World discusses the play Othello, focusing on the love story between Desdemona and Othello.

The first half of the play is described as joyful and fun, but the tone shifts in the second half.

The actor shares their passion for Shakespeare, having studied it at RADA, and expresses their dream of performing in London.

I’ve never had a crack at Desdemona but doing Shakespeare in London is my life dream.

Author's summary: Actress achieves dream role in Othello.
