Saibu Gas Holdings reported its first profit increase in three years, with interim results for September 2025 showing record revenue of ¥128.5 billion — up 14.5% from last year.
Net profit more than tripled to ¥3.7 billion, driven by strong electricity sales and condominium demand.
President Takuji Kato said the company achieved its “best-ever results.”
Saibu Gas also plans to import 6.5 tons of liquefied natural gas from Sakhalin, Russia, and welcomed Japan’s decision to continue energy cooperation under the Sakhalin-2 project.
