Sex in College Course Sparks Campus Dialogue
A new course at Tulane University, designed by associate professor of sociology Lisa Wade, invites students to explore the intersection of sex, relationships, and identity with college life.
Wade, author of American Hookup: The New Culture of Sex on Campus, has studied hookup culture for 15 years and aims to provide students with tools to navigate this culture.
"I really wanted to give back to students, give them tools to navigate this culture that they find themselves in but didn’t necessarily choose,"
said Wade.
