A fundraising effort has been launched to cover the costs of potentially life-saving treatment for a cat named Eddie, who sustained horrific injuries in a deliberate firework attack.
Eddie is believed to have been injured in the Banbrook Hill area of Armagh on October 17, with a firework tied to his tail before it exploded, causing severe internal burns, infection, and damage to his tail, pelvis, and possibly his spine.
The owner confirmed that a firework had been tied to Eddie's tail before it exploded.
Eddie's owners are devastated by their beloved pet's suffering. Described as a "tiny, gentle" cat, Eddie is in need of urgent medical attention.
