Hauser Fire Department Perseveres After Station Blaze

The Hauser Fire Department is updating the public on its status after its building burned down three weeks ago.

Despite the challenges, the department continues to operate from a donated RV. Chief Jerry Wharton says that working out of a vehicle brings a heap of challenges.

"Every time you turn around you have another challenge because you go to do stuff like normal, that stuff’s not there anymore,”

Chief Wharton emphasizes the need to adapt and overcome, a mindset that the department applies to its regular responses.

The RV was donated to the department a few days after the fire, allowing them to continue their operations.

Author's summary: Fire department operates from RV after blaze.
