Additional Payment for RAAC Private Homeowners
Aberdeen City Council has agreed in principle to make an additional payment to private RAAC homeowners.
The payment aims to reflect the impact RAAC has had on the market value of their property, should they wish to sell their property to the Council on a voluntary basis.
- £44,000 for a four-bedroomed property
- £37,000 for a three-bedroomed property
- £20,000 for a one-bedroomed property
This offer is subject to compliance with the Council’s statutory duties and may be offered retrospectively to homeowners who have already agreed terms.
The agreement in principle was made at a reconvened Special Meeting at Aberdeen City Council.
