Pirates boss Neil Middleditch expressed pride in his record after the team won trophies 32 and 33 under his leadership this season.
"It's the two big ones, the cup and the league, the ones we really wanted,"
Middleditch told the Daily Echo, reflecting on the season's achievements and the narrow defeat to the Redcar Bears in the BSN Series.
"I'm very proud of the record that we've got with the Pirates over the last sort of 25 years or so."
This season, despite falling short of defending the treble, is considered 'fantastic' by Middleditch, highlighting his team's success.
