Doctor Who: BBC Confirms Future and Christmas Special in 2026
The BBC has announced that Doctor Who will return to screens at Christmas 2026 with a special episode written by Russell T Davies.
The BBC remains committed to the show, despite Disney+ not partnering on the next season. Plans for the next series will be announced in due course to ensure the continuation of the Doctor's adventures.
