Commanders Fall 28-7 to Chiefs in a Week 8 Monday Night Football Showdown

Washington Commanders suffered a 28-7 defeat against Kansas City Chiefs, extending their losing streak to three games.

The team traveled to Kansas City in week eight to face the Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, but were defeated without star quarterback Jayden Daniels, falling to 3-5 on the season.

"I thought heading into the game early, the energy [was good], the juice, and the speed, I saw and felt that from the minute we stepped down the field, and that’s honestly what we’re looking for,"

head coach Dan Quinn said after the game. He noted that while the team had some positive takeaways, they left too many opportunities on the field to secure a win.
