Transformation of Treat Dreams into a Food Hall
Treat Dreams, a longstanding Ferndale business located at 22965 Woodward Ave., is set to undergo a transformation into a food hall in 2026.
According to Scott Moloney, the owner of the ice cream shop for 15 years, the idea to make this change had been under consideration for the last year. The decision was partly driven by the need to find a way to pay the building's rent after a sandwich business that previously operated at the site closed earlier this year.
The food hall will feature five permanent stalls and one rotating stall, allowing more small food shops to open under its roof.
