The Kindling competition, a European hospitality architecture and interior design contest for undergraduates, is now open for entries for 2025/26.
Launched by ReardonSmith Architects and MKV Design, the 2025/2026 Kindling competition, entitled Sanctuary, challenges A&D students to design hospitality spaces for people who have been displaced from their homes or communities.
The competition is open to individuals and groups of students studying architecture, design, or a combination of both, and features two categories: architecture and interior design.
According to the organizers, the competition aims to
highlight the vision, insights, and creativity of tomorrow's designers.
