SilentAccess is the flagship app of PLDT's soon-to-be-launched SmartSafe fraud management API suite, enabling frictionless logins and transactions without relying on SMS-based OTPs.
SilentAccess delivers certified authentication, working invisibly in the background.
According to Nico Alcoseba, head of product management at PLDT Enterprise, this solution addresses the increasing vulnerability of SMS-based OTPs to phishing, vishing, and man-in-the-middle attacks.
