Experiencing the 'Thrill of The First Flight'
A nonprofit organization, "Thrill of The First Flight", founded by John Ratcliff, a Vietnam War fighter pilot and retired corporate aviator, gave students a chance to experience flight.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, the organization took "future aviators" in third through 12th grade on brief flights as part of a family event at Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport.
