OpenAI Offers Free ChatGPT Go for One Year to Indian Users
OpenAI is providing its ChatGPT Go plan for free to users in India for a year under a limited-time promotional offer.
The promotion, which started on November 4, is available to new users who sign up during the promotional period. Existing ChatGPT Go subscribers in India are also eligible for the free 12-month plan.
ChatGPT Go, priced at less than $5 per month, was launched in India in August as OpenAI's most affordable paid subscription plan. The service has since expanded to Indonesia and 16 other countries in Asia.
India, with over 700 million smartphone users and more than a billion internet subscribers, is a key market for OpenAI.
OpenAI looks to expand in one of its top markets.
