Molto Bene, ridden by Lilly Pinchin, secured victory on her debut over fences in the 2m4½f handicap chase, winning by six lengths.
“I was really pleased with that. She’s always jumped brilliantly and when you enjoy your jumping, you’ve got half a chance.”
Trainer Charlie Longsdon noted that Molto Bene looked more improved over fences than hurdles. The next goal is to find her some black type, which would be beneficial for her family, including her brothers Honesty Policy and Cuthbert Dibble.
This win marked Pinchin's fourth winner from her last eight rides and her third success on Molto Bene.
