Battlefield 6’s New Free-To-Play Battle Royale Mode Launches Tomorrow
You won’t need to buy the main game to play it. If you’ve been hearing rumors that Battlefield 6 is getting a free-to-play battle royale mode, you’ve heard right.
As it turns out, when the season one update drops in the shooter tomorrow, it will be accompanied by the introduction of the Battle Royale mode, otherwise known as RedSec.
The mode will launch at 8:00 am Pacific time.
According to the teaser on the Battlefield Twitter account, the new battle royale mode will be free-to-play, meaning players don't have to buy Battlefield 6 to play it.
