Four Nigerian nationals have been arraigned before the Accra Circuit Court for allegedly breaking into residential apartments at Baatsonaa, a suburb of Accra.
The accused, including Moses Chinedu, Ugochukwu Onyeka, Obumneke Nnebuo, and Wisdom Ugochukwu, face seven counts of conspiracy to steal, unlawful entry, causing unlawful damage, and stealing.
According to the prosecution, led by Sergeant Priscilla Avorgah, the men allegedly broke into the apartments of two residents, Leslie Nii Fio Mensah and Abraham Kwaku Frimpong.
The stolen items include cash, electronics, and a piggy bank known locally as a “susu box”.
