Maruti Suzuki will showcase a compressed biogas (CBG) variant of the Victoris at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, running from October 30 to November 9.
The CBG variant features an underbody dual-cylinder tank configuration, similar to the CNG version, ensuring boot space remains unaffected.
Compressed biogas and CNG share identical chemical compositions, both being compressed methane, but their sources differ fundamentally.
CBG is a renewable fuel operating within a closed carbon cycle, where carbon is continuously reused.
A miniature model of a biogas plant currently operational in India will also be showcased at the event.
