Beirut’s 'DIVAS' Exhibition Is a Love Letter to the Women Who Shaped Arab Music
The exhibition "DIVAS: From Oum Koulthoum to Dalida" at Beirut’s Sursock Museum is a tribute to the women who defined Arab music, cinema, and style.
It features cinematic screens, vintage posters, and couture gowns, including Fayrouz’s Baalbeck costumes and Sabah’s stage looks, and explores how these women used their voices to challenge norms and inspire independence movements.
The exhibition will run from October 17, 2025 to January 11, 2026, after touring Paris, Amsterdam, and Amman.
It’s an immersive tribute to the artists whose music and films bridged Cairo, Beirut, and the world.
