Thailand to Enhance Cooperation with US on Cybercrime Crackdown
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has ordered Deputy Finance Minister Vorapak Tanyawong to clarify allegations of links to scam operations in writing.
Anutin has pledged cooperation with the US to combat cybercrime and online scams, stating that cyber scams are a national priority.
The US ambassador to Thailand had recently met with him to discuss joint operations to track down online scammers.
