Toyota Introduces Land Cruiser FJ Model
Toyota has introduced a new FJ version of the Land Cruiser, designed as an entry-level model to the lineup.
The FJ model is intended to be a more affordable option, with a length of 4.5 meters, which is not significantly shorter than the current Land Cruiser 250, but has a wheelbase that is 270mm shorter.
The FJ has four doors, unlike the old short-wheelbase Land Cruiser, which had two doors.
- 2.7-litre petrol engine
- Six-speed automatic gearbox
The cabin of the FJ appears to be similar to the existing Land Cruiser, with twin digital screens and physical buttons.
Toyota says FJ now stands for Freedom & Joy.
It is unclear if diesel, hybrid, or fully electric models will be available in the future.
