A Westmeath man, Kieran Arthur Guinness, has expressed his thoughts on the Netflix series "House of Guinness", which depicts his family's story.
Kieran, a resident of Moyvore and great-great-great-great-grandson of the original Arthur Guinness, states: "It's great television; it's quite amusing – but they've got it all wrong."
They've got it all wrong. The way they portrayed my great-grandfather and his brothers – well, they got a lot wrong.
The show begins with Kieran's great-grandfather Edward, his brothers Arthur and Benjamin, and their sister Anne, after their father, Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, bequeaths the Guinness brewery to Edward and Arthur in his will.
