Chiefs Chapel is changing what Sunday means for fans at Arrowhead

Chiefs Chapel: A New Sunday Tradition for Fans at Arrowhead

For years, many Chiefs fans had to choose between attending church and watching their team play at Arrowhead Stadium on Sundays.

In 2014, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt introduced the Faith and Family Chapel, located next to the southern corner of the stadium, to provide a solution.

The Chapel hosts a non-denominational worship service every Sunday morning when the Chiefs have a home game scheduled at noon.

“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”

said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City, highlighting the chapel's growth and impact on fans.

Thanks to dedicated volunteers, the Chiefs Chapel now attracts larger crowds each week, becoming a meaningful part of the game day tradition for many fans.
