Paddy Power Closures
Paddy Power is set to close 57 betting shops across the UK and Ireland, putting nearly 250 jobs at risk.
Parent firm Flutter, which also owns Betfair and Sky Bet, cites "increasing cost pressures and challenging market conditions" as the reason for the closures.
- 29 UK shops, including one in Northern Ireland, will be closed.
- 28 shops in the Republic of Ireland will also be shut down.
- 247 workers are at risk of redundancy, including 128 in the UK.
