Ports Director Geno Marconi's Trial
Ports and Harbors Director Geno Marconi's lawyers have requested that Attorney General John Formella testify at his upcoming criminal trial.
However, the state has filed a motion to quash Formella's subpoena.
Pretrial Hearing
Marconi, 74, attended a brief pretrial hearing at Rockingham County Superior Court, where scheduling issues were discussed.
Jury selection is scheduled for November.
Charges Against Marconi
Marconi is accused of two felonies and four misdemeanors for:
- Providing confidential motor vehicle records to Bradley Cook, former chairman of the Division of Ports and Harbors Advisory Council.
- Deleting investigation-related phone messages.
