Alleged Beating of 5-Year-Old Girl by Group of Kids
An investigation is ongoing in Cleveland, Ohio, after a mother reported her 5-year-old daughter was beaten, assaulted, and scalped.
According to the police, the suspects are under the age of 10.
"I literally saw the worst thing ever! I saw my daughter unrecognizable," said Antavia Kennibrew, the mother.
The incident occurred on September 13, when the mother dropped her daughter off at a family member's home. The 5-year-old girl allegedly walked out of the house and was beaten by a group of kids.
When the mother found out, she rushed to the scene and saw EMS treating her daughter several blocks away.
"What I saw was unbelievable," she said. "My daughter was not my daughter. Her hair was scalped from her head."
The mother describes her daughter as "bubbly and sweet" and is not sharing her name for safety reasons.
