Los Angeles Woman Survives Two Hit-and-Run Incidents

A woman is recovering after being run over by two hit-and-run drivers in downtown Los Angeles.

Ingrid Calderón, the survivor, was crossing Central Avenue and East 14th Place on October 5 when the incidents occurred.

According to a surveillance video shared by the Los Angeles Police Department, Calderón was hit by a dark-colored Ford Explorer while crossing the street. The crash sent her flying, and shortly after, a Honda CRV ran into her.

Calderón is now out of the hospital, using a walker and staying with friends during her recovery. As of October 15, no arrests have been announced in connection with the two separate crashes.

FOX 11 spoke with Ingrid Calderón, the woman who survived the back-to-back crashes.
