Afghanistan Claims 58 Pakistani Soldiers Killed in Border Operations
Afghanistan has reported that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed in overnight border operations in response to repeated violations of its territory and airspace.
"The situation on all official borders and de facto lines of Afghanistan is under complete control, and illegal activities have been largely prevented."
According to the Taliban government's chief spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, Afghan forces have captured 25 Pakistani army posts, with 58 soldiers killed and 30 others injured.

The Taliban government's defence ministry stated that its forces conducted "retaliatory and successful operations" along the border.
