The final cruise ship of the season, Holland America's Noordam, stopped at the cruise ship terminal in Nanaimo, carrying 1,900 passengers and 800 crew members.
The vessel, on its way down the coast from Alaska, is fully booked and also stopped in Prince Rupert and will stop in Victoria en route to Seattle.
The captain said the cruise line is planning three visits to Nanaimo in 2026.
A short ceremony was held to mark the occasion, with ship captain Marek Zoll presenting Port of Nanaimo chairperson Donna Hais with a ship plaque and Hais presenting Zoll with Indigenous artwork.
Holland America cruise line has been operating for over 150 years and this is its first port call in Nanaimo.
