The Vegas Golden Knights secured a 4-2 win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night, led by Jack Eichel's two goals.
Other notable performances included Kaedan Korczak's goal for the Golden Knights and Tomas Hertl's empty-net goal with seven seconds left.
Vegas' starting goalie Adin Hill stopped eight of 10 shots in the first period but was unable to return for the second period due to a lower-body injury. Akira Schmid took over, stopping all 19 shots he faced in relief.
