The Saskatoon Hilltops have overcome adversity throughout the season, and their regular-season finale was no exception. Despite facing rain, wind, and snow, as well as a lengthy delay, they emerged victorious with a 31-6 win over the Calgary Colts.
"It is what it is,"
said Hilltops head coach Tom Sargeant. The team now moves on to the Prairie Football Conference playoffs, with their first game this Sunday against the Winnipeg Rifles.
When asked if the Hilltops are ready for a long playoff run, Sargeant replied,
"We're going to find out."
The regular-season finale was marked by challenging conditions, with a slippery ball and turf making play difficult at times.
