Defense Minister Visits Laos and Attends Regional Meeting
Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang is leading a high-ranking defense delegation to Laos for an official visit.
The visit aims to deepen the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as attend the annual meeting of the Vietnamese, Lao, and Cambodian Defense Ministers.
The delegation will also participate in a joint search and rescue exercise among the armed forces of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, held in Laos from October 14 to 15.
The working visit serves as an occasion for both sides to exchange views and agree on orientations for future bilateral defense cooperation.
