McLaren's win in Singapore, securing its tenth F1 constructors' championship, led Matt Bishop to reflect on its first title in 1974, which was achieved amidst the tragedy of founder Bruce McLaren's death.

The team's victory celebrations in 1974 at Watkins Glen were a jubilant moment, and 51 years later, the team was celebrating its tenth championship.

So McLaren has done it again, having also done it last year.

On October 5, in Singapore, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri delivered a first-place finish, despite messy drives, to secure the 2025 Formula 1 constructors' world championship for their team.
