Hawai‘i High School Song Contest

Big Island Now presents the Nā Pua Mele o Hawai‘i Song Contest, inviting high school students in grades 9–12 to showcase their musical talents.

Students can submit a song of any genre, including original compositions, covers, and mele Hawai‘i, for a chance to advance their skills and perform live.

Prizes and Opportunities

The top 20 finalists will be invited to a day of workshops and one-on-one mentorship with award-winning artist Amy Hānaiali‘i and other special guests.

The contest is presented by Mana Maoli and sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations.
