While many educational institutions worldwide debate the use of AI, IMI College has already integrated it into its curriculum, making it one of the first schools in Mexico to do so.
A New Approach to Learning
In 2015, IMI College began replacing traditional textbooks, teachers, and curricula with iPads, coaches, and a monthly challenge that encourages students to become investigators and researchers.
We call them coaches because we want them to behave like sports coaches. Sports coaches don’t do the push-ups for you, don’t play the game for you. They’re on the side supporting you, but you get to play the game.
According to IMI Director Luis Medina, this approach allows students to take an active role in their learning process, with coaches providing support and guidance.
