Damaged Covered Bridge at Silk Road
Citizens have once again documented damage to a covered bridge, this time at Silk Road.
"This time it was the Silk Road Bridge that got hit," said Jonah Spivak, communications coordinator for the Town of Bennington. "And, again, this was someone who did the damage
The Silk Road Covered Bridge is one of three bridges spanning the Walloomsac River in close proximity. Recently, the Henry Bridge, also damaged by a hit and run, was repaired by Vermont Barns of Dover.
- The repair crew consisted of four members: River Elliott, Zak Mackay, Kainen Mattison, and Jason Jasurda.
