Glem Gas Launches New Emilia Electric Cooktops
Emilia has introduced new electric cooktop options designed to simplify the switch from gas cooktops by introducing products with identical sizes.
Glem Gas managing director, David Gilmore, explains the issue with traditional electric cooktop installations, requiring a cutout of 560mm x 490mm, whereas gas cooktops use a slightly smaller 560mm x 480mm cutout.
“This difference means that anyone wanting to move from gas to electric must enlarge their benchtop cutout – a tricky and sometimes hazardous job, especially with stone surfaces.”
