Columbine Shooting Survivor Shares Story

Craig Scott, a sophomore at the time, witnessed the tragic loss of two friends during the Columbine school shooting on April 20, 1999.

Scott shared his story of resilience with Aroostook County students, recounting how he hid in silence as bullets sprayed the school library, where he was hiding.

“My story starts with one of the most painful things that I went through in my life and that has led to the most purpose in my life: the day the shooting happened at my high school, Columbine in Littleton, Colorado,”

On that fateful morning, students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold attacked Columbine High School, killing 13 people, including Scott's sister Rachel.
