Two Crashes in Bethlehem Caused by Elderly Driver
Bethlehem Police reported that an 83-year-old man from West Coxsackie caused two separate crashes within minutes of each other on Friday, resulting in one fatality.
The first crash occurred at 12:46 p.m. on Route 9W, near Church Road. The elderly driver was traveling north when he crossed into the southbound lane and sideswiped another vehicle, causing no injuries.
Minutes later, at 12:48 p.m., the second crash happened on Route 9W, near Wemple Road, resulting in one death.
